- Vanderbilt begins postseason play with a midafternoon matchup against Texas in the opening round of the SEC Tournament.

WIN AND ADVANCE
- For a second-straight season, Vanderbilt will open the SEC Tournament in the 12 vs. 13 matchup, but the feel could not be any different as the Dores enter Bridgestone with 20 wins in 2024-25.
- Vandy has advanced to the SEC Tournament quarterfinals in two of the past three years, including a semifinal appearance two seasons ago.
ALL-SEC EDWARDS
- Junior Jason Edwards earned All-SEC recognition with a spot on the coaches’ third team.
- Edwards averaged 16.9 ppg in the regular season, including 15.5 in conference play.
- He scored in double figures in 29-of-31 contests this season.
- Edwards is the first Dore to garner All-SEC honors since Liam Robbins in 2023. He’s also the first to score over 500 points in a season since Scotty Pippen Jr.

- Vanderbilt enters the final game of the regular season ranked 43rd in the NET.
- The Dores own the No. 3 toughest conference schedule in the country and the No. 22 strength of schedule overall on the NET team sheets. Vandy’s SEC slate was the toughest in the league, and the country, according to KenPom.
- Vandy is 34th in wins above bubble and owns five Q1 victories.
- Each of Vandy’s 11 losses this season have come to teams currently projected in the field of 68. All but one are in the top 40 of the NET (Drake – 56).
FIRST TIME VS. TEXAS
- In the lone regular season meeting, Jaylen Carey dropped a season-high 18 points with 14 rebounds to lead the Dores to an 86-78 win. Nickel and Edwards added 17 each to the victory.
- Vandy trailed 39-35 at the half before outscoring the Longhorns 51-39 in the second.
- AJ Hoggard added 14 points and six assists.
